Police are investigating a home invasion in the Auckland suburb of Flat Bush after a group of males allegedly posed as Uber Eats delivery drivers to gain entry.

The incident happened around 9.10pm on Sunday. Police said the group attempted to force their way inside after claiming they were making a delivery.

Two occupants of the home were punched during the attack, and their cell phones and a wallet were stolen.

Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
