University of Auckland’s UBIQ Bookstore Placed Into Liquidation

The University of Auckland has confirmed that UBIQ, the independently owned and operated bookstore located on the City Campus, was placed into liquidation on Wednesday (July 3).

Despite the development, UBIQ is expected to remain open through the start of Semester Two, with operations continuing until at least 31 August. The University said in a Facebook post it is working closely with the appointed liquidator to ensure minimal disruption for both staff and students during the transition.

Further information will be released as it becomes available. The University has committed to keeping its community informed as the situation unfolds.
