Body Discovered at Arkles Bay, North Auckland

A body was found in the water at Arkles Bay near Whangaparāoa early this morning.

Police say a member of the public made the discovery around 6:50am. The person was confirmed deceased at the scene.

Authorities have recovered the body and are now working to identify the individual and determine the circumstances surrounding the death.

“At this stage, no further information is available,” a police spokesperson said.
